The action is cut from a single block of chromium-nickel steel and is smooth, quiet and clean; the barrels are cold-hammered, resulting in improved accuracy and durability. This is a rifle with a long lifespan that will keep on working.

The barrel is screw-cut as standard, with the Mercury invisi-join screw cap. The single set trigger is crisp, responsive and reassuring. The stock is carefully selected well seasoned walnut, oiled to a high standard finish with a straight back and Monte Carlo cheek-piece, with a gently tapered fore-end for instinctive hand-placement.
